Time
How to judge a person in work?? and how to be sure who is your blossom friends..
Can we judge a person by body language and/or by the seriousness in his/her attitude??
A person will always won't show up their true color till the very critical moment.
As in work, i believe and sure that.. everyone is competiting one another in work, career and popularity.
Does anyone think before that.. who can be your true friends and who can be your good colleague that you will remember always...
Time is the matters for all ..
Time can drift people apart.. but time can test out a person.
Time is so important .. to the extend of every single people in the world are asking for more..
coz time are so precious...
i'm thinking that.. if without time.. we cant gauge anything.. to people in work, to your bond with soul partner and to your findness of friendship..
Have you all think of that before... ?? Or juz dun have the TIME to think out at all..

Jurong Birdpark

He saw that Jurong would be more than an industrial zone for Singaporeans where people could relax with nature. All this Dr Goh saw in the Jurong BirdPark, which would be the first of its kind in Southeast Asia.
The western slope of Jurong Hill (Bukit Perepok) was chosen in December 1968.
While the Park was being built, the Park’s officials urged ambassadors and foreign dignitaries to Singapore to contribute birds for the new park. Soon, birds from all over the world finches, pheasants, herons, mallards, owls, cockatoos began arriving. By opening day, 12 countries, 7 zoos and 40 private donors had contributed birds to the Park.
On 3 January 1971, Jurong BirdPark was opened to the public. It was built at a cost of $3.5 million, excluding land cost.
The Park has four aviaries, among which is the world’s largest walk-in aviary with the tallest man-made waterfall for visitors to enjoy a close-up view of free-flying birds from Africa and South America. Bird shows, staged at the Pool Amphitheatre and Fuji Hawk Walk are entertaining and informative and have thrilled visitors from all over the world.
The BirdPark’s exhibits and aviaries are specially designed to closely resemble the natural habitats of the birds. There are also open spaces landscaped with exotic flowering plants such as heliconias to enhance the beauty of the BirdPark.

The Past of CCK Cemetery

Choa Chu Kang Cemetery is the biggest cemetery in Singapore, which is located in the west of the island in close proximity to the Tengah Air Base and at the confluence of the Old Choa Chu Kang Road, Lim Chu Kang Road and Jalan Bahar.. it comprises the Chinese, Christian, Ahmaddiya Jama'at, Muslim, Parsi, Bahai, Jewish, Hindu and Lawn cemeteries. It is currently the only burial cemetery to remain in operation. Also within its grounds, are several columbariums, including the state-run Choa Chu Kang Columbarium, and two private facilities, namely The Garden of Remembrance, A Christian columbarium and Ji Le Memorial Park, the Buddhist facility..
The site of the cemetery estate was initially belonged to the former NTU, Old Nanyang University as a park for future development. At the center of the park, where there was a small hill (now being the garden of remembrance Park) used to have 3 flag pole standing; Bristish, Malaya and India. During the Japanese Occupation, the jap army removed them. And their enemy beheaded there. The Strong Vengeances of the victims filled the air. After the war, whoever tried to re-erect any flag there would die with no reason on the next morning. Some believe that the '' polarity'' of the cosmic energy there has been disturbed and switched opposite during the war. Because of that, this piece of land was used naturally as cemetery as it is today.
Rumors:
Sightings of a ghost headless japanese soldier and chinese commando in blue uniform at the area. The Chinese commando had many wounds on his body, and carried a severed head which was dripping blood on his left hand, and a blood-stained parang on his right hand. Later he was shot dead by the other Japanese troops.
Feng Sui:
The cemetery district is sited geomantically well on a piece of interesting, undulating land with smooth physical features that are in accordance with nature and beneficial influences. The surrounding landscape is indicative of balanced patterns and harmonious topography. Ranges of hilly ground spread on the left (resembling the formation of the azure dragon and the yang energy)
P/S: Why must we need to explore the ghoulish place in the night time.. We can go there in the day time.. show respect to the spirit, make prayer to dead.. Breathe some fresh air instead.. LOL~ Oops! ^.^
Gotten the past stories from many sources.. interest to know more.. please search yourself. :)

Stomach Flu & HFMD Outbreak
Last week, at least 21 childrens in one of the childcare centre locate in boon lay, caught with (viral GE) virus. The center had closed for 3 days, for doing the necessary sanitising work.
Dr Chong from KK hospital mentioned in the ''My paper'' that this (viral GE) virus is spread by exposure to vomit or stools, and not usually by food or drink that children consumed. But multiply childrens can contract the virus if they share the same enclose space.
80% of the childcare centre design layout are all the same. 4 to 5 group of classes in one enclose space. No partition for each group. I was thinking, if one children got the virus, the rest of kids will have possible to get it too.. as virus is flying everywhere within centre.. those childcare centre which faciliated with aircon.. will be having higher risks of children getting it.
I myself is a mother of one son, who my son also always fall sick ever since i decided to enrol him into childcare centre.
And due to virus attacking the centre.. i need to take lots of leave to stay at home, to take care of him.
I definately will do part to take care of him, when he is sick due to normal illness..
As for virus attack, the childcare should be their part in doing cleaning to the centre.. and must also do something to improve on the unexpected virus attack to kids.
They should re layout the centre. placing partition between each classes.. to prevent much contact with one another. Cleaning of hand and foot frequently. Hygiene is very important..if no one going to look into this matter.. thinks mothers out there, can lose their job and income, and no more lady out there, would want to give birth .. making kids suffer so much ..

Trailer [ Harry Potter & the Half blood prince]
Harry Potter and the Half- Blood prince follows Harry Potter on his sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry discovers the Half-Blood Prince's ancient potions book which tell about voldemort's dark past, the potion book gives Harry advice on how to improve greatly Potions work, and teaching him a few helpful and yet dangerous spell along the ways .
Amidst this, Harry is starting private lessons with Professor Dumbledore, during which Harry learns the dark secrets of Voldemort's past, hoping that they could use these secrets to find a way to defeat him.
Harry's year gets even more stressful with the suspicious actions of Draco Malfoy, who has been sneaking around the school doing, so Harry assumes, Voldemort's bidding. Harry quickly becomes determined, and slightly obsessed, to find out exactly what Malfoy has been up to and putting and end to it.
Yet, during this time, Harry and his friends go through daily life, busy with school work, Quidditch, (in which Harry has been made captain of the team) and of course, romance. Ron has found a new girlfriend, Lavender Brown, a perky (if not obnoxious) Gryffindor student, and Hermione is not happy about it. Ron and Hermione's friendship takes a toll throughout the school year and Harry, as usual, is stuck in the middle. Harry, meanwhile, is facing a romantic dilemma of his own: he realizes he is falling for his best friend's sister, Ginny Weasley, who is unfortunately dating Harry's classmate, Dean Thomas. Harry's pining for Ginny and Ron's hilarious relationship with Lavender give this story a large dose of reality.
Throughout all the school drama, however, the obvious darkness of Voldemort's impending rise to power is always apparent.
The incredible action-packed climax is sure to leave the audience stunned and, inevitably, prove that you shouldn't trust everybody who you think is good and also prove that not everyone can manage to survive.

Francoise Demulder - French War Photographer
She had covered many of the major wars of the later part of the last century, and her pictures featured in magazines such as Time, Stern, Paris Match and Newsweek.
She won the World Press Photo prize in 1976 for a black and white picture of a Palestinian refugee woman pleading with a masked gunman in a war-ravaged district of Beirut.
On the earlier days, she hated war, but felt compelled to document how it's always the innocent who suffer, while the powerful get richer and richer.
She worked briefly as a model after studying philosophy in Paris but soon fell in love with Asia.
It was to cover her travelling expenses that she started to sell her photos of Vietnam

Croc in Singapore park sparks hunt, draws spectators
Seen the news from Yahoo . Mentioned that there's a experts told local newspapers that this croc is about one metre long (3 ft) and most likely is a saltwater crocodile, which more commonly found in neighbouring Malaysia and Indonesia.
How wish i can see a crocodile in its nature before someone does something to it. Even though it's not a huge one.
Singapore have left a few wildlife nature places for this kind of animals to live in..
The only places in Singapore can see crocs will be in ZOO only.. >.< i suppose so
We will not able to read animals mind..
To be SAFE, it's better to stay a distance away of this toothy animal. whereby you won't know what is he next movement.. " dash toward you??'' or ....
So no matter how, if you are not DARE, then dun play risk with this toothy croc.

Tyersall Istana
I had went to explore the tyersall mansion with other 3 photographer on 24 May 2008. Time 930am..Too scare, to go at night time, as this a prohibited place locate very inner side of botanic garden..
This is my 1st time, going to a haunted place.. felt cold n errie.. and some more i have a strong paranormal instinct on the unwanted stuff.. And think this is also the last time entering there..
All the negative sense, wont stop me on going to explore more exordinary thing with my daring friends.. LOL.
The below text is about the historical history of the tyersall mansion.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The origins of the estate, and the old Tyersall Istana:"In March 1857, Boustead and Co. advertised for sale, Tyersall, William Napier’s estate and house in the Tanglin area which covered sixty-seven acres of land.William Napier retired from the East in 1857 after a distinguished career. Napier Road is named after him and the road led to his house and his estate, Tyersall, which was built in 1854 and later replaced by New Tyersall (or Istana Tyersall), the Sultan Abu Bakar of Johor’'s (1831-1895) palatial Singapore residence.Sometime in 1860, the property was purchased by Sultan Abu Bakar of Johor, grandson of Temenggung Abdul Rahman who had negotiated with Raffles the Singapore in 1819. Napier’s house was demolished to make way for the construction of New Tyersall in 1890.The house was completed in 1892, and the Sultan held such a grand housewarming reception that the Singapore Free Press provided details of the architecture and fittings of the house. The rectangular building measured 210 feet long by 174 feet deep, was in the “Corinthian style of architecture… with a red tiled roof” and a seventy-feet high tower in the center topped by the Sultan’s symbolic star and crescent.Among its key features were a spacious projected carriage porch, a grand staircase with ornamental iron balustrades, a grand reception room, a ball room, a billiard room -- and it was fitted with electric light. The installation of electricity was hailed by the Free Press as indicative of an improvement of “domestic civilization, and a marked step in the industrial progress of the Colony.” Interior-wise, the fanlights were Arabsque in design, the wood used was teak and ironwood and the building had altogether 420 doors.New Tyersall, according to Lee Kip Lin, architect and author of The Singapore House, was one of the grandest homes built in the Victorian Eclectic idiom, combining not only gothic and classical motifs, but also some Indo-Saracenic elements into the design. In his welcoming speech, Sultan Abu Bakar announced the plans for the house had been approved by his late wife, the Sultana, and executed by the Malay architect, Datoh Yayah. Typically Singaporean, New Tyersall had a cosmopolitan character. The iron-work had been carried out mainly by the local engineering firm of Howarth Erskine,74 and some portion of it by H.C. Hogan, the contractor was Mr. Wong Ah Fook from Johore, and the upholstery was provided by John Little and Co., the “finest Store East of Suez.” Once home to drag hunts until the sultry weather outdid the imported English hounds, New Tyersall was destroyed by a fire reported at 2:45 am on September 10th, 1905. The cause of the fire was faulty electrical wiring."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Tyersall area was also the Indian Military Base Hospital during the singapore battle with japan. The hospital was clearly marked with a large red cross to indicate its purpose; it was actually a cluster of huts where the wounded Indian troops were warded.
A squadron of Japanese bombers dropped incendiary bombs on the hospital on 11 February 1942 and the whole cluster of huts was turned into a raging inferno. All the 700 patients of the casualty packed wards were burnt to death...
Glad to know all this thingy, after my trip there.. if is before the trip, think i might not be stepping in there at all..

Most common mistakes pet owners make
I love animals~ But Love Doesnt Mean Anything~ Just like how a BGR built up.. it applied between you and the animals.. the texts below are from a acticle talking about the Most Common Mistake Pet Owners Make.. Hope people out there.. after reading it~ can re mend the mistake and do care rightly..
==========================================================
Companion animals can enrich our lives in an almost endless number of ways. Whether greeting us enthusiastically at the door, keeping us company on daily jogs or simply entertaining us with their play, sharing your life with a pet is a great way to increase the length and improve the quality of your life. For all they add to our lives, we owe it to them to do all we can for them in return. One of the ways to ensure your animal companion enjoys a long, happy life is to avoid the pitfalls of the most common pet-parenting mistakes:
Impulsive adoptions/purchases
Making the commitment to invite any animal to join your family should take a lot of careful consideration. Unfortunately, many people can't resist the temptation of bringing home a cute animal immediately. It is much wiser to first go home and do some research to find out everything you can about this particular type of pet and what caring for and living with them will entail. Be sure to include all family members in the decision-making process. Carefully consider the commitment of time and money, and if this particular animal's size, age, temperament and activity level are a good match for your family.
Buying from a pet store
This can be a hard mistake for people to avoid as seeing a cute young animal in a store can be very tempting, especially since some people consider they are saving that particular animal. But keep in mind that while you may give that animal a good home, with each sale the pet store makes they are that much more likely to bring more animals in from animal mills where the breeding stock is subjected to a life of constant breeding and mistreatment. A much wiser source is a local shelter, breed rescue group or reputable breeder
