on 8th march 2009, which is a sunday.
I've went for a 1 day gateaway trip to batam with my hubby.
Not a big deal places to talk about.. BUT i still wanna to share with people out there on my journey.
First of all, My hubby n i early in morning 630am waiting for mrt to harbour front .
Upon reaching harbourfront, we go collect our tickets and agency sticker to verify ourself when we reach batam.
0840am we've board the speed boat to batam.. reach batam around 930am.. approx. we had took 45min to reach.. sound fast but ...
look long.. coz all the way we're looking at the sea.. with no sign of anything :)
once we reach, we meet up with our tour guide .. as well as meeting up with other tourists ..
The 1st place we went , is the local goodies shop, where they sell dried seafood, prawn crackers and etc. too much variety to choose from, i 've end up buying some raw prawn n fish crackers..
2nd places we head to kueh lapis factory.. but the place dun look like a factory to me.. look more like a shop.. haha .. at there, they will allow us to order, and they are possible to send the serve hot kueh lapis to batam terminal when we all is going to about to leave batam. good service.
3rd places is the common places .. which everyone would be expecting to go there.. POLO shop.. hahah~ so coincidences that they are having sales.. buy 2 20% off ~ buy 3 n more 50% !!
my hubby n i end up bought 3 top:) which cost about $90 after disc
4th places , is the tua pek gong temple.. i din pray but i asked my hubby to do so.. nothing much to say here..
After 4 shopping places, everyone felt abit hungry.. the tour guide bring us to golden prawn 933 restaurant and have our lunch.. our 6 course meal. consist of Chilli Crab, Sour fried fish, cereal prawn, fried squid, kang kong, toufu suanchai soup and a another seafood which i not sure the name for it .. keke .. and the last one we have is coconut drink
After having a full meal, tour guide bring us to see immortal show.. who people can suddenly act so different. example: biting a hard big coconut and eating break glasses.
So tired, after a few places, as the weather in batam.. is so humid! perspiring all the way thru the journey..even we went to new shopping mall call nagoya shopping mall. i think their aircon is setting at 28 degree.. warm n abit cool only.
we shop for 3 hrs in nagoya shopping mall.. their stuffs is rather cheap .. but bangkok is still the cheapest places to shop.. hehe
530pm, we've gathered up with other tourist and meet up with tour guide .. and ready to return back to singapore..
Reach singapore at 0745pm..
Those people out there, if you have not experience this kind of places before.. please do so..
